50 Holiday Stocking Ideas For Preppers (and Non-Preppers)
The holidays can be a fun time to give and receive presents. Many people like to fill stockings for their loved ones. That can be challenging, especially if you are filling stockings for adults.
I like to fill stockings with food like candy or something interesting that I found at the store. I also like to fill them with practical items as well as something a little kitschy. My adult kids still look forward to this every Christmas, and it gets to be challenging as to what to put in them. My kids have grown up with me putting practical items in their stockings with a prepper bent because that is just who I am!
Also, if you are filling stockings for non-preppers, you can include some of these items, and they might not realize what you are doing to help them get prepared!
I am also a bit cheap when it comes to stocking stuffers. I did offer some suggestions that are closer to $20, but I try to keep the items $5.00 and under when I am filling stockings. I was under a tight budget for years at Christmas and I still like to keep a budget when shopping for the holidays.
I compiled this list for you for ideas to put in your stockings this year. Some of these items are clearly not kid-appropriate, and you should be able to decide what is appropriate for your kids and for the adults in your life. Also, remember that “two is one and one is none”. Some items are things you just cannot have enough of, in my opinion.
