I have to say, there are some that I had to swallow my pride and say "Theory isn't reality, so I don't really know." Like chickens – I know keeping live animals isn't near as easy-breezy as people would make it sound. Heck, the rabbit in the back yard is still inventing new ways to have to be dealt with, and it's the trial run rabbit before the meat rabbits.
That, and canning. I remain as wary of canning as a long-tailed cat in a room full of grandmas in rocking chairs. It's the steam burns and broken glass – I've personal experience with both of those from other venues, and don't have any desire to deal with them again.
If you can deal with chickens and canning, you have my respect. I'll, uh, go over here and just bake some bread, then disappear down into the garage to help build a boat or clean some guns, mmkay?
