Frugal Tip Friday: Pasta Leftovers

Frugal Tip Friday: Pasta Leftovers

This week’s frugal tip is an offshoot of yesterday’s post about Corn Casserole. In the tips and suggestions, I have listed one about using up the ends of pasta that are in boxes. I don’t let these gems go to waste! This is still food and money spent. I have actually helped people clean out their food pantries and kitchens and they will throw these away. What?!?! Don’t do that! Let me help you! Invest in one of these: I…

Coupons or Not?

Coupons or Not?

I have a question for the good readers of this blog. Basically, do you use coupons or not? To what extent? I am not exactly sure how or why, but life sent us a few curve balls before Christmas that did not help. Namely sickness and a lot of doctor’s visits….

Dehydrating Onions

Let me help you save some money and make you think you are a frugal genius! I used to be one of those that bought dried chopped onions in the grocery stores paying anywhere from $.99 to $3.99 for a container of that stuff. Then I got my mom’s old dehydrator. I played around with the dehydrator and put it away not realizing its invaluable contribution to our household. Silly, silly me.  One day I ran out of dried chopped…
